He smiles a lot in his sleep. The day we brought him home he actually laughed in his sleep. SO CUTE!

Maddox has arrived! He came August 24th, at 8:43 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 inches long! I had a great delivery! My epidural worked very well this time.. not so well the first time. From labor to delivery it was only a total of 4 1/2 hours. I didn't have nearly as much damage done to my body either. Though Maddox did give me stretch marks that Jaxton had decided to not give me. Maddox has been such a great baby so far. He isn't very fussy, and he smiles a lot and Jaxton loves him... a little too much at times. So here is my life as a mom of two.

So the new things in our household... we got 8 chickens. We just figured out 5 of them are miniture chickens. Not what we had in mind for eggs. 2 of them we are guessing they are red stars and the one with the feathers all over its head, my favorite, was a top hat. It wasn't so smart and went and suffocated itself and died. All the others are growing and doing well though. Its kinda wierd not throwing away all our left overs and just giving them to the chickens. They eat anything. Jaxton loves to go out and feed them and chase them around. Im hoping the next new thing is just a newborn. Greg has just started supervising the night shift at his work and doing full time school. Its going to be kinda rough for me, but I guess I'll tough it out. A little sacrafice now will make things better in the long run is what I have to keep telling myself.

I just love these two studs. They make me so happy and I cant believe I am so lucky to have them!!!

Can't wait till Maddox joins our family! Another guy to just make me a happy girl! I am so blessed and love my family and I am so excited to see another addition to it!

Baby Boy #2

The whole ultrasound he kept his arms and hands in front of his face so these are the best pictures we got of him. He still looks super cute in my opinion and I cannot wait to see him outside of my belly. Everything so far with my pregnancy has been going great. I havent had any morning sickness really and everything as far as the doctor says is going "perfect" so here in 10 weeks we should have another bouncing baby boy! We also just found out Amanda is having her second baby in January. Again our kids will be 5 months apart, and according to draino, she is also having another boy!!! We will see if it is accurate. We have yet to see one that the draino was wrong.

Last night we were watching a movie and It was so cute seeing Greg and Jax eating thier popcorn and having thier drinks. They love each other so much and It makes me the happiest wife and mom to be able to see them grow together and love to be with each other. I can not believe how fast time is flying by! I'm so excited to be able to see both of my sons with thier dad and watch them grow. We only have 3 1/2 months til Maddox joins our family and we are excited, a little nervous, and anxoius for his arrival. Just like daddy!

Night of thanksgiving.

Its been awhile!

October: Jaxton was a dragon for Halloween. He wasnt too thrilled to wear his costume, so we had to hurry and take a few pictures then we took it back off of him.
November: We had Thanksgiving up in Syracuse with Gregs parents, It seems so long ago that I dont really remember much of what we did. I think just the normal big dinner and then played games as a family. My birthday was the 21st and Greg threw a mini party for me. It was fun.
December: We were really busy getting ready for Megan's wedding. Her wedding was amazing and the sealer said some of the most amazing things to know when your getting married and starting a life together. I was so happy I was able to go. I almost had to send Greg by himself because Jaxton had gotten really sick and wasn't keeping anything down for a week. He got better a day and a half before the wedding. He had actually gotten sick on his 1st birthday and so we had to cancel the birthday party we planned for him. I ended up just giving Greg his gift that day, which was a paintball gun and made him a paintball cake. we tried to see if Jaxton wanted to play with some legos but that lasted for about 5 minutes then was done. He spent his birthday cuddling with me or Greg. Christmas we spoiled ourselves and got a new T.V and entertainment center and an XBox... which i cant keep Greg off of.
January: We ended up throwing Jaxtons birthday party and it was so cute to see him dig into his cake and open all of his gifts. My house was full of people!!! Later in the month I felt like my body was acting funny so I decided to take a pregnancy test and come to find out, we are expecting a baby!!! My due date is September 6th.
February: ....flew by, I dont even know what went on.
March: It was our anniversary and we decided to get a gender check on the baby and found out that we are expecting another boy!!!! We are so excited and Greg was really funny, he said that he had never been so excited to see a penis!
April: I had my ultrasound and everything looks perfect!!! Jaxton is getting so big and doing and saying new things everyday. I feel like I'm getting HUGE!! Everything is going well in the Jenkins home.

last but not least, new things III

So Jaxton has been doing all sorts of new things lately! The last thing started last night where he started pushing bins around and then decided to make a ladder with them up to the T.V.! This kid is just getting too smart. He is so much fun. We are so happy and lucky to have such a sweetheart in our family. He loves to give us hugs and smiles. We are having so much fun watching him grow and be such a cutie! We love him SO much!
