Well a lot has gone on since my last post. Jaxton got blessed at the beginning of March. We had to do it at home because he had gotten sick. Jax is growing so fast its crazy to watch the time fly by. he is 3 and a half months old and almost weighs double his birth weight. Greg and I havent done too much. We have been helping Mike and Steph move/unmove. Its crazy because they came to St. George the last couple weeks to move all their stuff up to Roosevelt, but since Obama ruined the oil field jobs in Utah then Mike found a new job here. He found out he had the job right after we had most of his house packed in a trailer. Im way excited he found his job here though. Kirra is having puppies the end of April. So soon I will have a bunch of baby boxers running around. We are going to keep one, and sell the rest. Well here are some random pics from the past couple of months.

Welcome 2009!!!

This year is bound to be full of surprises. So far its just been taking care of a new baby. Greg and I have been trying to get on a schedule, which has been quite interesting. Greg wishes Jax could just sleep through the night. Its been fun being new parents though and watching the little guy grow. Jaxton is starting to gain weight, I am not sure what he is up to now but I'm sure its over 8 pounds. I could swear that he has intentionally smiled at me 3 times. It melts my heart!!!! He looks me straight into the eyes and grins. I can't wait till he does that with daddy!!! Greg is so flippin cute being a dad and I just love to watch him with Jax.

Other than that the new things are.... a few days after Christmas the west side of our fence fell down so Kirra can't go in and out as she pleases so we have to remember to let the dogs out. she has actually been really good with the new addition. I dont think that she really knows what to think about it, but every once in a while trys to give him kisses.

Kirra Chirstmas day!!! Grandma Jenkins gave her a reindeer outfit that didnt fit her so she had a new chew toy. she opened it all herself. its fun to watch her open her gifts each year.

Christmas Eve. Lindsay playing with Kirra! Kirra loves when Lindsay comes down to play. I was glad as well, poor Kirra probably feels really neglected since Jaxton has come.

Greg's sister's came over for Christmas. This was the night before, or the morning of. We stayed up really late playing games.

Jaxton has arrived!

On the 12th of December our little Jax came to join us! He was born at 9:24 p.m. weighing 7 lbs 4 ounces and 19 inches long! I went into labor at 1 p.m. went to the hospital around 4:15 p.m. They timed my contractions and checked to see what I was dilated to, which was a 4+ and after about an hour and a half let me know they were going to keep me and that I was going to be having Jaxton. About 6:00 p.m. they put me in the labor and delivery room and timed my contractions some more. At about 7:00 they checked me again and i was dilated to a 5+ and told me they were going to call the doctor. Around 7:30 they started me on pitocin to make my contractions harder and shortly after the doc. came in and broke my water. He told the nurse that he was going to go to the other hospital for about an hour and then the rest of the night he will be at home until he gets the call. I guess he told the nurse that he was going to estimate me delivering at about 3:00 am the next morning.The nurse asked me if i wanted my epidural and i told her that i was going to hold out just a little longer. About the time she got half way down the hall I hit the nurses button saying I wanted it as soon as possible. I didn't realize how bad the pain was going to be after my water broke. Greg was a good sport and even got bit through one of the contractions. my mom kept telling me to just breath and she got yelled at by me saying that i couldn't! The anesthesiologist came in and gave me the epidural and made most the pain go away. Greg hadn't eaten all day so Josh (my brother-in-law) and Greg went to the cafeteria to find something. Just after he left the nurse came in... its about 8:20... to check me. i had already dilated to a 9!!!! she told me that she was going to call the doctor that i was going to be having my baby very soon. we called Greg and told him to get his butt back that if he didn't he was going to miss it. Don't worry he didn't, but around 9:00 the doctor came in and i had Jax 24 min later!!!!

Dog Park!

Well since the dog park opened here in St. George we have been taking Kirra over there to run and play in hopes that she will be more tired at night when we come home. Boy were we wrong! She loves to play with all the other dogs and especially a dog named Bandit. Bandit is a husky/malamute mix. Bandit just tries to play keepaway so Kirra just starts biting his tail to get him to play. Kirra also had another little friend to play with, Kaiya. Kaiya is the boxer puppy in the video that is stomping Kirra!! The owner of Kaiya had to giver her away because he didn't have the money to take care of her. She has been really sick and wasn't getting better so Kirra misses her coming to the park to play.

Other than taking Kirra to the park and working alot, nothing much has changed around our house. Amber is 35 weeks along now and can't wait to get that baby out of her belly! We can't wait to see what he is going to look like and are excited to be parents (maybe!).

3D ultra sound

Our baby Jaxton! We went and got a 3D ultrasound and it made us so happy to see our little guy! We just cant wait until we can hold him in our arms! Only 9 1/2 weeks left!
